Is it raining there today ?

Not here, not yet anyway, but there are some dark clouds in the sky.

We had rain last night, been cloudy and cool today though.

It was pissing down in Santiago del Teide apparently yet down here on the coast, 20mins. away it was lovely.

Yesterday we could see three islands, the wind was a northwesterly, and right now we have wet stuff falling from the sky.

I could only see La Gomera yesterday but it was crystal clear!  We've had light showers on and off for the past couple of hours.

We have a Calima the worst I have ever known in this island of El Hierro, they usually miss us. All flights have been cancelled due to bad visibility.

I am 15km from Punta de Teno (straight line from Puerto Santiago), and for a while this afternoon you could only almost see to the Masca barranco.  It has been horrid, though it has lifted some now.

It's been quite a gorgeous day today here with lovely blue sky!  It hasn't been warm enough to warm my apartment up though.  I've been sitting here under a fleece blanket wearing my hoodie, even though it's been warm outside

The air feels thick with calima today!  As soon as I left home this morning at 7.30am I was hit in the face with blasts of hot, dusty wind. My nose and throat also think there's a horrible calima. The sky is mostly blue though and the sun is shining but I think I'm going to have to shut my windows to keep this horrible air out!

Not too bad here, El Hierro, slightly hazy looking ENE, towards you, however where we live is higher that the highest of the English Pennines, higher than Holme Moss, so here the air is clearer.
