Tenerife Weather

Oh what a grey day!!   all the way to the horizon, grey skies. Last night we had a shower. Valverde, El Hierro.

Arrived back at 01.00 this morning from a week in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. The weather there was very much the same as Tenerife. Very low clouds until 1pm most days, then the sun would come out. The area around the marina was very nice. A lovely place to chill with a nice glass of wine and tapas, looking out over the sea. Playa Blanca is the quiet area of Lanzarote. Not much live entertainment. More just a mix of all types of food restaurants with the occasional small bar. Not a patch on Tenerife. I did enjoy the holiday as the purpose was just to chill out and relax, and the hotel(H10 Lanzarote princess) was lovely, but i wouldn't go back to that part of Lanzarote.

  @Anne 2009, we've missed you!  I'm glad you had a lovely chillout and that the sun came out for you sometimes.  I don't know what's going on this June!  It's another cloudy day here in Palm Mar.  I actually rather like it like this, but it isn't very Tenerife

   Here in England, i woke up to wall to wall sunshine, and from what i can gather we are in for a very hot week

It's absolutely scorching here!!  Blue skies and sunshine.  It was glorious in the pool this morning, I think I spent a little bit too long in there

Here on El Hierro, Valverde, it is cracking the flagstones, lots of sunshine, we can see Tenerife and La Gomera.
