It is definitely clearing around here. You can see colours on the cliffs and see Teno. It is taking time though.

Visibility is back to normal here and I am grateful. I saw the most wonderful crepuscular rays this morning when I took the dingbats out; it was really enjoyable. As well, I saw the BLUE blue moon setting just to the north of La Gomera. Know what? You can't pay for a good time like this.

It's been really grey and cloudy all day today and there was a rain shower early this morning. Quite grim for Tenerife in April...

Well, MM, let me help you with grim: I had to put on light leggings and like ankle socks today because it clouded over for a short while. That was grim.

While eating din-dins outside on the balcony when the sun was blazing again, I took my warm over-shirt off. I enjoyed watching the play of light, cloud, water, and colour on the canvas outside the Balcón (plus there were no screaming brats for a change). That was grand.

What is going on with this weather? My terrace is a big puddle from all the rain overnight, this morning was a scorcher and now it's cool and cloudy. This isn't normal for Tenerife in April...

Sun and cloud here, which is good because this weekend there is the Magma cycle race, cross country, 550 entries, Bosslady was up early, she is one of the official photographers.

Getting back to the weather, I checked my records, more or less similar weather for the last eight years, if we get five days of good downpours we have done well, whereas in Gods Own County, (Yorkshire) if we had five days of blooming blistering sunshine the council would ban the use of hosepipes. Below 20ºc here and the scarfs, gloves and big coats appear.
