yes, click any button and instead of getting where I want to go, I get a page saying "prove you're not a robot" with a little tick box. If I'm lucky I then get another few pages of having to click on parts of a grid where some picture is, but if I'm unlucky I just get the prove you're not a robot page again. What I don't get is the page I originally bloody wanted. Even now typing this I don't know if it will submit it, or whether I'll get the prove you're not a robot page. "Fed up" is not the word!

Well.....maybe you're a robot.....You don't appear to be able to prove otherwise.... :giggle:

It did rain overnight and was still spitting here about 0745.  I had the dingbats out for ablutions and was treated to the most dramatic clouds and sky, and a rainbow which began over La Gomera and ended over the cliffs at Los Gigantes.  Accompanied by anticrepuscular rays, it was quite something.

It was raining here really heavily for most of the night.  There was some lighter rain at about 7.30am but since then it's just been very grey and ominous looking...

After a quiet enough night in Tenerife, but during which El Hierro and especially La Palma suffered torrential downpours, dawn was a spectacular affair for us. Parts of Tenerife did have some rain through the night, and in terms of winds, Izaña recorded gusts of 103 km/h in the early hours, by far the strongest wind registered in the Canaries during this unsettled spell. The western islands apart from Tenerife remain on orange alert for rain and wind tomorrow, while Tenerife itself remains on yellow alert. It's not over yet, though we have little enough to show for it ... apart from the clouds, that is! The following was taken from Izaña early this morning (click to see full size).

Well I tried my normally reliable  method of making it rain. I walked to the shop.

Nada!

It works a treat back in NI but apparently not here.  ::)

How is the weather now over yonder? Still a mixed bag, or more settled? It's been really cold here for the past week, with many frosty mornings. Hibernating under a warm quilt weather  :)
