Aye ! So it is  in my best NI accent.

Has anyone else noticed that when the soaps are on for example Emmerdale comes to and end and Eastenders is on next, then Emmerdale again later you always get a NI broadcaster male or female that says

Emmerdale returns in haf n arrrrr. 

Ist's a bloody HOUR !!!  well half an HOUR  woss an arrrrrrrrrr

Meteorologists say that minute by minute the situation is becoming clearer and that the Canaries could see what is perhaps the first of the winter storms from Wednesday. Aemet itself says that rain could be quite heavy in the south and west of the islands, despite the possibility of the front drawing some heat and dust in the air out of Africa on Monday and Tuesday, something that is not expected to affect us in Tenerife, though the eastern islands could experience some calima. Hopefully we will get some much needed rain, and of some significance!  The following animation comes from Efemérides Meteorológicas Canarias.
