Here it's cooled down considerably.  The humidity was down to 26% earlier and is now back up to 73%.  Strange weather.

30 plus here at Puerto Colon  , heavy haze out to sea and lots of red dust on outside table etc
Felt like walking  into a fan oven  earlier

That is exactly what it felt like this morning in Puerto Santiago when I opened up my Terrace door.

[countdown=01,06,2021,13,30][/countdown] until I return to Tenerife!

Warm warm wind blowing tonight. A sirocco?

Well, the last calima wasn't the last blast of summer after all, and it seems we can expect another one next week again. The weekend might see quite a bit of cloud and even a spot of rain in some parts, especially in the north, but  it won't last and the wind will start strengthening with temperatures starting to rise from Sunday.  Meteorologists say this one won't be as strong as the last, but thermometers should record 30º easily throughout the islands.

Oh no, I don't want another one!!  :03:

We have had a spot of rain this morning though  :great:
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

This is a bit late (our internet has been down for about a week), but here is our view of Gran Canaria:

Managed to see that about 1500-ish yesterday afternoon when driving back from La Laguna to the west.  We've had lovely views this week.
