Here in Valverde, El Hierro, 1/2 inch of wet stuff fell from the sky last night, the wind cause minor damage in the locality. Today was better, sunny but windy. No need to water the garden tonight.

It's very dull and grey here!  Am I in the right country??

Looking on the webcam at Los cristianos and it looks very dull. Almost as if it's going to rain.

it's forecast ... Aemet's issued a yellow alert in south, west and east Tenerife, and a DGSE pre-alert in place as well, from midnight last inght. Rainfall is expected to be moderate, heavy in places, and occasional chubascos (squalls).

Yep, that's what it looks like.  Guess I'd better try and go out for food supplies sooner rather than later
