Well I had a 6 and a half hour internet outage!!!!!  I am getting on to the UNCHR.   The UN Court of Human Rights.

Clear blue skies and sunshine this morning!

Yes, it looks much brighter today and although the Canarian Government has maintained its alert for rains today, it's been reduced to pre-alert ... so a clear statement that the worst is over. The bands of this weather front are expected to stay with us, though, albeit weakening all the time, through the weekend.
