Wow, and i'm complaining at 22 degrees!  I have a full size wooden park bench in my back garden. One of the local parks decided to get rid of them. I purchased it for £25 about 12 years ago. Best money iv'e ever spent. But today it's too bloody hot to sit on

And as might have been expected, Aemet has raised tomorrow's yellow alert to orange for Wednesday, when temperatures are expected to reach 37º between midday and 7pm. At present the alerts don't go beyond the next two days, but as always, it is quite likely that they will be extended.

It's far too hot to go outside - I just did and the terrace tiles scolded my feet! - but there's a lovely breeze blowing through with both windows open
