"Teide" supercomputer

A supercomputer with the computing power of 80,000 home computers is to be installed somewhere in Tenerife by some Japanese bloke as reported here.

I confess I'm a bit unclear as to why in Tenerife, but it's going to cost 320 million dollars, I think.  Perhaps they'll need web designers.
