Sea Rescue out again...

When I first started reading this I thought it was current but see all the action is from last night.  What the hell were two people doing out swimming in the dark?  Plus, I don't know the area, but whenever I drive along the autopista the sea always seems quite rough.  Sounds like they were asking for trouble.  Who do they bill the rescue attempt to then?

It was still full daylight when the rescue boat passed my window.

They were attempting a known crossing for swimmers, it seems, from one side of the bay to the lighthouse. Sea wasn't rough, apparently ...

but with what got washed up there the other day I wouldn't have gone in that water for love nor money!
