There's been an horrendous train crash in Santiago de Compostela in Galicia with at least 45 dead. The BBC has it HERE.

Death toll now 77. The driver admitted that he was travelling at 190 round a sharp bend of old track which had a speed limit of 80 kph

As a side issue, the village where this accident happened is a small one with one bar in it. Hordes of journalists have descended on the scene, and whereas up until the day before yesterday a glass of beer cost €1.20, they now charge €1.50. It warms the cockles of your heart, doesn't it?
