The passing of a legend!!  Poor Mr. C, but what an amazing life he had!  And when it's time to go I guess that's the way to do it!  He'll be fondly remembered.
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

How lucky @Janet to be so close and familiar with a Lizard

Ive seen a few along the coastline and always wondered about their lives and how they can move so fast.

To be friends with one is some achievement!

Thank you @warbey !! I felt it as a complete privilege, even though he was a miserable old sod :D

I think that sometimes relating with an animal on a level that one couldn't easily explain knocks spots off any human connection! :ermm:

Ive seen quite a few clips of animals doing extraordinary things on Facebook.

Latest was a Bear that saved a drowning bird, so I completely agree with you.

As a teenager, we had a cat that became attached to me and vice versa.

When she started to deliver her kittens she would come to my bedroom and

demand the bottom draw of the dressing table to have them.

I also had to be there to stroke her and assist  with the Kittens.

Maybe nothing exceptional there but many years on, I still remember and love that cat.

We also had a pet Crow that tried to get on the bus following Mum, but that's another story.
