You are out of touch! My son-in-law has a bike or two which cost several times that (he's too embarassed to be precise about it). Mystifyingly, the more expensive the bike, the more of them you need. My daughter bought him a biker's tee-shirt which has on it N = X + 1 N = number of bikes needed, X = number of bikes owned
