People are still trying to sign up for it anyway ... just had an enquiry of how to apply late. I think the extended period closed on the 2nd, so she was too late, but it's evidently popular!

The person might be able to enter in person tomorrow Janet.  They're open for collection of numbers etc. from 1000-2000.  No harm giving it a try if they are in LG. 

There are 490 entered in the half marathon and 262 in the 10.8k. 

For my part, the training ended this morning with the last run before the race.  I am astounded to say I did a PB on this training route so hope that bodes well for Sunday.  And that's all I can do.

When the alarm goes on Sunday morning my legs will turn to jelly and my stomach will flip flop and I will have a serious go at OH about why I am doing this.  Happens every race day.

Well I am not sure if she can, but turning up in person is more likely to be met with some sympathy.  A lot of races do allow it but I don't know about this one as I always enter it early to force myself to train.

Why do they have to play loud music while they're setting everything up??  It's Saturday morning

It shouldn't be.  They now have little girls dancing on the stage so the volume has been pumped up...

They're just banging on about it on twitter ..... seems the stand is up and ready for people to get their numbers and packs, and it's in La Rambla, so that's where the "party" is ....

You're as bad as a friend of mine. He phoned the police and complained about the Salvation Army playing in his street on a Sunday morning.

Good on him!  I'd report this racket to the police if only I thought they'd give a damn.
