Guía de Isora's Christmas-New Year 2012 programme has now been announced, and like Adeje, it all starts now! This year there seems a rather commercialised look to the cover of Guía de Isora's Christmas programme, above, but they are trying to bring some much needed Christmas shopping into the area. The programme, however, is as usual packed with cultural events to appeal to residents and visitors alike ...

Tonight's carol concert at 7pm in the church in Playa San Juan has been called off. I don't have a reason for this, but the announcement of the cancellation was made by Guía de Isora Ayuntamiento.
