Gorgeous.  Is it a blue rock thrush?  I am v. bad at identifying birdds.

It's a blue chaffinch, a Canary Islands endemic.

Now I see you said blue chaffinch on your original post which was disguised by the picture. I can see it now, but going through the bird book would not have picked it out.
