Cold & wet

I had forgotten - just how cold and wet it is in the UK. Although its a pleasant change from the heat we have had all summer in Tenerife, we have been in the UK 3 days (another 9 to go) and I want to go home already! Socks - I haven't worn them since about the end of April; jumper - what's that all about. But on the positive side - rain, that's a novel experience.
