Word has it that the Indian restaurant that moved from Palm Mar to San Blas didn't do too well.
Apparently the cook from Palm Mar is now cooking in the Kohinoor on the corner near the top square in San Blas, next to the Taj. (lot of competition around there.)

But this is all unconfirmed.  :)

Never do well, they are overpriced.

I disagree. The chef may have changed but two weeks ago they were still doing the best curry in the western world. Their prices are what I would expect to pay for a damn good curry  :tiphat:
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

Four indian restaurants that I can think of and you could throw a stone between them all.

I can live with a gross profit of 80% but not >90%

Think you are selling short the Bradford, Birmingham and Leicester Curry Houses.  :)

How much you pay for a curry approximately? 5 euros?

Ah, I'd forgotten those  :D  Still it's a long way to go from Tenerife!  I've tried many here but none are a patch on the Peshawri.

I pay 20 euros for a curry, pilau rice, chapatti and two bottles of Cobra.  Because it's such a pain to get to now it's in the Golf, I've been getting double that to last me two days, then I get the complementary pappadams and dips ;)   There are cheaper places, but to me it's a small difference to pay for how much more I enjoy it  :tiphat:

Everyone's tastes are different though, so if it isn't worth the difference to you, of course you'll go elsewhere :)

A bit costly, but same thing happens here for Burger and Pizzas

BTW, if possible, try to order these dishes:

1. Paav Bhaaji (Starter/Snacks)

2. Chole Bhature (Main Course)

Note: I don't like Chole (curry) at all, as I have eaten it way to many times in hostel. But, if you haven't eaten it, you will like it a lot :)

3. Paper Masala Dosa - Snacks/Main Course, depending on ones stomach

4. Saambhar Vada with Idli- Snacks/Main Course, depending on ones stomach

Apart from No. 2, I can gurantee all the dishes = pure awesomeness

Chapatti! I can remember when they brought a stack and you had as many as you needed. But it was nearly fifty years ago. :)
