History, the musical, is the new resident show in the Magma Centre. It is produced by Magma Arte & Congresos and Viana Shows, and the ambition is to "present a quality and different leisure event, adding value to the tourist experience". This is what has come out of the presentation today in the Magma Centre by director and creator Eric Viana, Magma director Héctor Hernández, Adeje mayor José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, and Arona tourism councillor Francisco Niño. Also at the presentation was Nataly, one of the main artists in the show, and its musical director Rolo Rodríguez.

There is to be a preview tomorrow for tourism professionals, and it will be open to the public on 17 July. Seats will cost: VIP €45, general €35, and residents €29.  Children between 10 and 15 will be charged at half price, and under 10s will be admitted free. Tickets are already on sale through the magma website www.magmatenerife.es and the centre's box office. JA

This is weird. You call it the history of music, yet the poster gives no indication what it is a history of. This is of course typical. Why on earth would they tell you what something is about? If it is a history of music, then from the names on there, they start the music history about 50 years after it actually stopped. I think I would pay not to go, but each to his own.  :gonnagetit:

Nova

I can see Bach on there for you  :tiphat:  And I don't think it had "arach" after it  :017:

Abba, The Beatles and Elvis I could do, but everything else that's readable is, indeed, worth avoiding
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

History the musical will be back in the Magma Centre from July. It was hugely successful last season in 2012 and I'm sure it will be so again this year. I'll post the dates as soon as I have them. JA

It sounds dreadful. What kind of nut case would pay money for that?

I think it might be nice.  I might go.  Just to spite you.   :P

You wouldn't be spiting me, you would be answering my question as to what kind of nut case.  ;)
