We were at the beach in Playa San Juan this afternoon and the waves were totally strange.  There was a lot of swell, like I've never seen.  Getting in and out was difficult (for everyone, not just for me you people in the peanut gallery).   There were a lot of circles of scum (=espuma, the result of the ocean culling off sun creme and other undesirable crap off the beach) which at first were small and grew to the size of the harbour.  Most unsavoury for bathing. 

Guess it's just another phase.

When we walked back to the car the piece of beatch connected to the harbour and next to the main road there was at the high waterline a line of sigarette buds .

Really thousends of them ......(not  exagerating )
Washed up from the harbour ......with the extra gigh tide .

Peaple never will change .
Just flick it in the water and its away for them .
Filthy habit .......
