Autumn arts and crafts fairs in Tenerife

Artisan fairs are a regular event throughout Tenerife, and they are always well attended, with people browsing and buying the products of some really creative and talented individuals, all of whom are officially recognized with an artisan card, a carné de artesano. Many of these fairs are held in the autumn, and this year, for example, there will be Vilaflor's later this month and Guía de Isora's on 10 September. One of the biggest, and now quite a famous one, is in Pinolere, an ethnographic museum village above La Orotava (see HERE), and every year more than 200 artisans and crafters take part: this year's fair is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 1-3 September. The main Canaries-wide arts and crafts fair, the 33rd Feria de Artesanía de Canarias 2017, is in Santa Cruz between 6 and 10 December (link).
