The 43rd Subida a Tamaimo inter-insular mountain rally will take place over Friday to Sunday next week, 16-18 June. As usual, the TF454 Puerto Santiago-Tamaimo road will be closed for it, and as organizers had hoped, the race is now reincorporated into the national mountain-racing championships. The website is HERE though as yet no timetables have been added.

I think i'll take a dander along to Playa Arena and see the cars.

I'd love to venture further up the hill and see a bit of the action but i'm wary of getting trapped up there and getting fried if it's hot.  :undecided:
[countdown=01,06,2021,13,30][/countdown] until I return to Tenerife!

You could stay there and just watch the helicopters go overhead, retrieving the bits from where they have driven into barrancos. Far more exciting.

will Richard Hammond be taking part??

He's not allowed. Apparently his legs are too short to reach the brake pedals on fast cars.
