The British Government has announced that a minute's silence will be held at 11am tomorrow morning, 6 June, throughout the UK as a gesture of solidarity of the whole of the country in the face of the third terror attack on the UK in recent weeks. And as a gesture of solidarity with the UK, Adeje Ayuntamiento too will be holding a minute's silence at 11am tomorrow on the steps of Adeje Town Hall (near the top of Calle Grande).

Adeje mayor José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga said that the timing was chosen to coincide with the UK's observation of the minute's silence "to demonstrate our total rejection of these attacks and to show the solidarity of the people of Adeje with the victims, their families and all the people of London". Other organizations and institutions have already held their own minute's silence, but, symbolically, Adeje doing it at the same time as the UK is significant. Those who would like to attend will be welcomed with open arms.

A minute's explosive anger would be more appropriate...
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.
