Police arrest Los Cristianos serial burglar

National Police have arrested a 32-year-old man for 15 thefts from vehicles and dwellings in Los Cristianos. Police say that the man detained is called Ivan V.H., familiarly known as "El Gomero", and that his robbery spree caused great alarm in several complexes in Avda Juan Carlos I, the road that goes from the TF1 down to the fountain roundabout and straight down past the health centre, the Princesa Dácil, and down to the Arona Gran Hotel. Police had received various denuncias about burglaries of a wide range of items, including computers, sun glasses, and electronic gadgets. "El Gomera" has been arrested before over the last few months for similar offences. He is now in police custody being processed. JA
