About IBIs

When I paid last year's IBI in person in the Consorcio de Tributos office in Los Cristianos, I signed the forms to (hopefully) pay it by direct debit this year and in the future.  I can't remember what day they said they would take it but I have the 5th of June marked in my calendar.

Now my question is: is the amount I pay likely to have increased from last year or does it tend to stay the same like the car tax?

My IBI is the same as last year and the year before.

They can go up, but are usually much the same. Like Canarybird's ours are identical to last year's.

DD for our IBI came out on 07 July last year (San Miguel if it makes any difference) ....not sure if that helps or just confuses the issue really

Thanks NAH, funny how it varies between municipalities!  I know from the bank that Arona IBIs go out sometime in June. I'm prepared now anyway. I've loaded my DD account with enough to pay my IBI at last year's rate plus a 10€ margin just in case  . So they can take it whenever they like now
