Wife was telling me about a possible link between two Scottish pedophiles and the missing boy from GC , which was on the news this morning. It would appear that the two men in question were working or at least had a white van in GC at the time and were in fact spoken to by the Police but eliminated. Now it would appear that these two men are at present in a Scottish prison for the rape of six boys. Spanish police are reported to be on their way to Scotland to interview the two men. Sounds promising

This is interesting G, because they went to Scotland nearly a month ago ... and then there was what looked like a press blackout, nothing being reported. There was quite a hoohah in the media when they left for Scotland around mid November to interview this pair ... do you know what was said this morning because there might have been a development.

No unfortunatly not Janet. Afraid the wife dosen't really listen to the news very intently... the Spanish news tends to wind her up some what!
Shes out at the moment I'll ask when she gets back.

I just asked the wife Janet and she can't shed any more light on it. She said the way they were reporting it was as though it only happened today! :017:

There is confirmation this morning that the Guardia Civil have imputed (declared as a formal suspect for investigation and trial) a 56-year-old man for kidnap and murder. The suspect is already in prison in Algeciras, Cádiz for sexual abuse crimes committed in 2012, and it seems that apart from the evidence the police already have to link him to Yéremi's disappearance, he is the owner of a car such as was described widely at the time as being linked to the crime, and lived locally to the family.

edit: Here's a video of the statement made this morning by a Canarian Government spokesman.

How long is Yeremi Vargas missing?......about 10 years I think.

March 2007.  I remember as I was in El Hierro then watching it on the news.
