Adeje Passion Play today, Good Friday

Adeje's famous annual passion play is about to start in half an hour, and it's being broadcast live on TV (RTVC) and online on the following link if anyone would like to watch it.

and of course RTVC's online stream was offline for maintenance ... and we can't get Canarian TV in this house, just Spanish. Hope it went off Ok ...

I'm appalled that given recent events, the whole thing no longer feels "biblical" ... just barbaric. Modern barbaric ...

It was fabulous!  Didn't catch it all, but what I saw was well acted and a professional production.

The guy who plays Jesus, José Antonio López, is a professional actor. He's either the only professional actor in it, or one of just two or three. All the rest are locals.
