Aemet has extended the yellow alert for high winds at altitude in Tenerife; it is now in place until 9pm on Tuesday evening. Wild seas are also forecast from now until Wednesday morning so there will be some spectacular waves to see over the next couple of days.

El Profesor

I can just detect a light breeze where I am .... if I wet my finger. It'll be windy out to sea and at altitude I imagine.

Apparently it's blowing fit to bust on the Golf del Sur, and in the north there are traffic warnings and overturned vehicles ... and someone died under a blown-over tree in Fuerteventura ...

it's a bit windy .... though it's calm up here too!
