Elderly man killed after being knocked down by bus and motorbike in Chayofa

An 82-year-old man died last night after being run over on the TF-28 near the El Mojón hospital near Los Cristianos. The accident happened just before 10.3opm when emergency services were called out with reports that a pedestrian had been knocked down by a bus and subsequently hit by a motorbike. Paramedics unfortunately found the elderly man had died instantly from his injuries and they were unable to do anything other than declare him dead at the scene. A 23-year-old man involved in the the incident was transferred to Hospitén Sur with minor injuries, and is said to be not in serious condition. JA
