Tenerife winter sales start 7 January

The official January sales will start next Wednesday, 7 January, the day after Reyes, and finish on 6 March. As always, the second half of the period in February will see even further reductions as the sales enter the segundas rebajas period. Shops will no doubt be hoping that the ecomonic recovery the politicians say has begun will result in increased profits this time, because the last few years' sales periods have been dismal for them. That should at least mean, however, that there will be considerable savings to be had for shoppers. Happy bargain hunting! JA
