This does not fit neatly into any of the threads where we have talked about them so with trepidation I give Jazztel their own thread.  There's an article in The Local today stating that Orange is buying them.

French telecom giant Orange on Monday made a €3.4-billion offer ($4.4 billion) to acquire Spanish fixed-line operator Jazztel.

No idea what it means for us but forewarned is forearmed.

Maybe the Orange bosses got so sick of receiving spammy aggressive phone calls they figured the quickest way to get some peace was to buy them out

I'm a bit disappointed they only try to phone once per day, and the line goes dead when I answer. I think it would be an excellent opportunity to practice some indecent Spanish
