Helicopter rescue at sea for El Médano swimmer

A man has been rescued by helicopter after nearly drowning at El Médano this evening. The incident happened around 6pm when emergency services received various calls about a swimmer in difficulties who couldn't get back to land due to rough seas. The GES helicopter winched the swimmer aboard and transferred him to TFS, and he was then stabilized and then taken to on Hospitén Sur. JA
