Paraglider dies after falling at Taucho

A paraglider lost his life around 5pm this afternoon in the Taucho area in the hills near Adeje. The 40-year-old man was found after emergency services received calls reporting that he had fallen, and due to the difficulties of the area a search and rescue helicopter was sent out. In the event, a medical helicopter was able to land there itself, and together with bomberos, they reached the man. Sadly, however, they were unable to resuscitate him due to the multiple injuries he had received. JA
