Yellow alert for rain in Tenerife

Aemet has issued a yellow alert for rain, with snow above 1,900 metres. The alert covers the whole of Tenerife, with a forecast for up to 60 litres per square metre in 12 hours. The alert lasts from 1pm tomorrow afternoon until 9am Friday morning.

Another yellow alert has been issued, with tomorrow's forecast for rain, torrential at times, and storms throughout the Canaries. Up to 15mm per hour/70mm per 12 hours of rain is expected in Tenerife, La Palma, and Gran Canaria. The alert is active between midday and midnight tomorrow.
