Police break up drugs and money laundering ring in Playa Paraíso, Armeñime and Callao Salvaje

The Policía Nacional says that it has broken up a drugs and money laundering ring in south Tenerife with the arrest of nine individuals in Playa Paraíso, Armeñime and Callao Salvaje. Along with the arrests, police say that they seized some €27,000, 59 grams of cocaine, 373 grams of hash, implements for treatment and dosification of drugs, five high-range vehicles, and a range of documentation from four dwellings in the three areas, where the detainees and the majority of their clients for cocaine live. The nine are now being processed by the judicial authorities, with the two "ringleaders" being remanded in prison. JA
