Violent burglary in El Rancho de Palm Mar nets three hooded thieves just €100

€100. That was the measly haul three hooded thieves got away with in the early hours of yesterday morning after wrecking several slot and vending machines in the restaurant Rancho just outside Palm Mar last night, and injuring the security man before tying him up in order to ensure their escape.  The burglars made their getaway towards the roundabout, and it is not known whether they then headed for El Fraile, Guargacho or Guaza: presumably, though, they were heading for the TF1. The alarm was finally raised shortly before 6am, and the Guardia Civil are now investigating the aggravated break-in. The security guard is safe and not badly injured, and has already given the police his statement. JA
