Aemet has raised a yellow alert for "costeros" – adverse coastal conditions. The culprit is apparently a major storm in the mid Atlantic in the southern hemisphere which will result in high tides and choppy seas from the south. Aemet says that this is unusual on south Canarian beaches and so bathers may be taken by surprise when their normally calm beaches are rougher and more dangerous than expected. The alert is currently for today, Tuesday and Wednesday, though as usual, it might be extended over coming days. JA

Great, we might get a bit of rain.

I came home to find papers blown about all over my apartment so there must have been some wind today!
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.
