An excellent night on Palm Mar beach
Many fires but my neighbour's was one of the big ones chairs, tables and a huge BBQ in the sand
A large dustbin of sangria and loads of beer. At one point I ran out of vino tinto and had to walk home and get more.
There was live music and fire juggling
We left at 01:30 and it was still going strong
No one is up yet except the "insane" think it may be a quiet day.

The mist descended here in the middle of the night, trapping all the smoke from all the fires.  I woke up and the house smelled rank.  Fortunately the sun has burned off most of it but to the north (Los Gigantes/Santiage del Teide way) it is still there.

Poor little Archie fled under the sofa with the first firework and I couldn't get him out until breakfast this morning!  Even then he took some coaxing!  Poor baby he was terrified  :03:
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.
