anyone else seen them fancy road signs on the TF1?

what a waste of money, imho.  big photographic road signs! when coming back from the airport earlier on, i spotted 3 of them, one on the exit los cristianos, with a huuuuge photo of the sea with some wales, the same sign on  las americas exit and just after the adeje exit one with the cliffs of los gigantes. so much for the government setting its priorities right...NOT!

Saw them the other day for the first time on our way back from.....I can hardly say it.....Las Chafiras. 

There's also one before the San Lorenzo exit with a picture of Teide indicating you can get there using that exit. 

They are awfully pretty but I would rather they had used the money to finish the TF-1.

Saw three this evening on my way home ... one at Los Cristianos and another at Puerto Colon, both with whales on, as far as I could see, and then another further up, at the Atalaya junction, a sign for Los Gigantes with pictures of ... yes, cliffs.

Very pretty. I would think that someone's cousin's wife's girlfriend's brother has just started a signwriting business ...

I saw them today, flaming ridiculous!  The last thing drivers need on that stretch of motorway is a visual distraction, and they won´t exactly have been free
