Man seriously injured after fall on Montaña Roja

A 70-year-old man is in Hositén Sur tonight with multiple injuries after a fall while walking on Montaña Roja, El Médano this morning. Emergency services were called out shortly before 10.30am, but due to the inaccessibility of the terrain a helicopter was required to rescue him. After evacuating him to the airport, he was transferred by ambulance to hospital where he remains in serious condition. JA
