There is a MASSIVE yacht moored just to the north of Abama.  It has been there at least since yesterday.  It belongs to somebody with big bucks.  Any ideas?

is it this one??

The Benetton superyacht was in Gran Canaria yesterday .....  :undecided:

No, that's not it.  The one that's there looks even more spectacular.

Strange it hasn't got it's transponder on. According to ship tracker there is only Elide V a sailing ship at Los Chris. The Volcan ferry left about half an hour ago, and Twins a catamaran just off Golf Sur heading for Los Chris. Oh and the fast Cat is approaching los Chris and there is a salvage tug there as well. But nothing else.

Thanks for that - forgot to use the technology.  Looks like it might be the Lady Petra out of Malta. She shows as being moored off the coast of San Juan.

Would appear to be a Mr and Mrs Heesen. Mr Heesen being the ex owner of the ship building company that built her.

ufffff tug of the forelock required, I fancy .......

A very big tug! To give you an idea. To charter a 33 mt motor yacht with five crew and ten berths, 3 double and two twin cabins, it will cost you a snip at €25,200 a week out of Gibraltar. You'll be pleased to know this does include complementary mints on the pillows a small block of soap and a shoe shine :tiphat:

The Lady Petra is 47 mt and births 12. But she's not for charter.

She's also got a complement of tinier vessels around her.  Man I would love a tour!
