I think I've already posted about the Spanish baby scandal whereby nuns and medical professionals stole new born babies to sell. Well a sort of heart warming story from Madrid. A woman there made a trip to her local clinic. A doctor there happened to say to her 'Your here again"? The woman hadn't been there for ages so the conversation went on.
It transpired that the woman's unknown identical twin sister was a patient at the same clinic. She was one of the stolen babies. Unfortunately the medical staff cannot give the details of the other twin so the first twin has appeared on the Tv appealing for her lost twin sister to contact her.
The first twin had an idea some time ago that she had other family due to some strange paperwork she found that was in her mothers possession.

The more I think about this story the stranger it gets. Half a story? :undecided:

The story is a bit clearer now. It seems that the two women are being treated for the same genetic illness. What it is they didn't say but that seems to be the connection.

Hey if you get any more info let us know.  This sounds like of of those one-in-a-million stories.  I hope it works out okay for them.

Janet

Sorry this story is coming in bits and pieces! The woman on the TV knew she had a twin sister but it was thought the other twin died at birth. She was obviously stolen by the Catholic nuns, and the paperwork falsified.
The woman was sent by her local doctor to this clinic near Madrid and the single doctor specialising in the illness, who had seen the newly discovered twin the week before! obviously wanted to know why she had come back so soon and the story goes on. Both women live in different parts of Spain and unfortunately data protection and all that crap prevents the health service helping the two women to be reunited.

If all that make sense!! I have a feeling that it's going to be one of those stories that we never get to hear the end of, but we will keep an ear out.
