Uh-oh, helicopter circling...

A helicopter has been doing low circuits over my building and around the coastline for ages now.  Why do people go out on the sea when the weather is like this??

There was one buzzing around Silencio last night - can't remember what time but I think it was earlier than your post - maybe it was the same one and they were hunting for someone?

Don't know if it's related but I needed to pop round to work in Chafiras unexpectedly about an hour ago.  Had drunk one pint of Alhambra (strong) and was a little worried but I had to go and let someone in.  There was a Guardia checkpoint in Guargacho - unusual - so I headed back to Silencio through Cho and Guaza.  On the way back, cruised through another two checkpoints just outside Cho and at Palm Mar roundabout.

A very high level of activity for a Sunday teatime - is it possible that they are on alert for someone or something?

Yes, entirely possible, and if so it would explain why there's nothing in the press yet ...

There was a police helicopter flying low circuits over me about half an hour ago, which is especially unusual after dark.  Any ideas?
