Young driver dies in horrific car accident

A 21-year-old man died in an horrific traffic accident just after 1.30 this morning when his car left the TF326, the road in the hills above Los Realejos and La Orotava. The car fell into a barranco and burst into flames, the young man dying in the accident. Bomberos were on the scene very quickly and put the fire out, but nothing could be done for the poor driver, with paramedics only able to confirm his death at the scene. JA
