XXII Annual El Médano triathlon Sunday 28 May

The annual El Médano triathlon takes place this Sunday, 28 May. The event, now in its 22nd year, starts at 8.30am in Playa Leocadio Machado, in front of El Médano's plaza with hundreds again expected to take part. As usual, many more are likely to be lining the routes to watch the competitors swim, then cycle, and finally end with a 10 km foot race. Gruelling is not the word! As usual the TF643 El Médano to Los Abrigos will be closed in the morning for what is a big day locally, and a fun day out for all those watching.
