British man stabbed in Playa de las Américas

A 30-year-old British man was injured when he was stabbed at midnight last night in Avda Arquitecto Gómez Cuesta in Playa de las Américas, the road that runs along past the Arona stadium and the Hospiten Sur. Emergency services say that they were called out with reports that the man had collapsed after receiving abdominal stab wounds. He was stabilized at the scene and then taken to the nearby hospital, where his condition is said to be comfortable.  The National Police are investigating the incident.
