Playa San Juan's Noche de Tapas y Vinos is now an established and popular annual event, and it crowds out the town's harbour area with stalls selling tapas and wines from just €1. This year's edition will be held on Saturday, 25 March, from 7pm to midnight, with live music to bring the night alive as well.

Great!  Are we giving it a miss again this year?

I think it's rather quaint, queuing for hours in different queues then standing in a crowd of strangers struggling to eat tapas off plastic plates whilst holding a glass of battery acid wine (when you've had to buy the glass as well as the wine) and being deafened by ghastly music. This is culture.
