A little girl of 7 years of age is in critical condition after nearly drowning at Alcalá beach at 5 o'clock this afternoon. Emergency services were called with reports that a child had been pulled unconscious from the water and an ambulance took her to Alcalá health centre  where a doctor and nurse stabilized her. The child was then transferred to Candelaria hospital where she remains in critical condition, though alive.

Does she have parents and where were they?  The end of the beach where all parents with children in tow tend to go in has lifeguards.  So where was her family?  This kind of thing hacks me off - they were not paying attention to her.
