This weekend’s entertainment in Tenerife

Tonight, there's fabulous entertainment at the Magma Centre with the Amy Winehouse tribute concert with original band members.

Tomorrow Saturday, Puerto de la Cruz is celebrating its Noche en Blanco, rescheduled after being cancelled because of bad weather in October, so the town will be open all night, buzzing with a party atmosphere, and no doubt shoppers taking full advantage of the late opening hours for Christmas presents. And in the south, Playa Paraiso will be buzzing with the official grand opening of the Hard Rock Hotel.

Also on Saturday, the ever-popular Adeje Christmas market will be held in Calle Grande between 5pm and 1am, with bouncy castles, story-telling, workshops, music, theatre, all adding to the stalls to create a fabulous Christmas atmosphere. There is also a gospel concert in the town's Plaza de España (by the town hall) at 9.30pm.

And then, on Sunday, the annual Walk for Life in support of breast cancer sufferers and in memory of its victims, as well as in aid of breast cancer charities, will start from Playa de las Américas and head to the Magma Centre. Have a great weekend whatever you're doing.
